The extended range antenna for the 318MHz Carriage Door Opener/Transmitter Receiver will boost transmitter range to around 250 feet depending on conditions. The receiver without the extended range antenna will allow transmitters to work with in a 100 foot range. While the long range antenna will extend this range to 250 feet.
