This 16 gauge, 2 conductor wiring is perfect for transformers or accessories for a carriage door opener. Because it is double insulated and UV resistant, it is a very durable wire. It can even be directly buried in the ground. Since it is sold by the foot, it is available in any quantity, and can be delivered with a carriage door opener or accessory, completing the kit and installation requirements. Finally, while other wires are difficult to strip, this wire can be stripped with a standard pair of wire strippers. Likewise, other wires are too stiff to conform to twists or turns, or break too easily after bending, but this product can be bent over and over to fit the desired shape.
