Our aluminum is constructed from 6061-T6 rust free wrought aluminum alloy, which is a high-grade alloy that yields 35,000 pounds per square inch. Many do not know that this grade of aluminum is stronger than a "mild steel", which has a yield of about 20,000 to 30,000 pounds per square inch. We use 6061-T6 wrought aluminum for its durability and resiliency that provides quality dent resistance and lasting beauty. We offer two separate design options: an archtop frame and a straight flat top carriage door. Our frames include strap style hinges with a rectangular design that comes standard at a length of 12’’, made of durable powder-coated iron.
